Reservations :
Please contact our UK office to check availability, to discuss and fine-tune the arrangements for the holiday of your choice and to make a provisional booking. We will hold an option for you pending receipt of a completed
and signed Booking Form. On receipt of this, your booking will be deemed to be definite and a contract
will exist between us.
Payments :
As hotels have different deposit requirements, we will advise the deposits required and the dates these are due. To make reservations please EMAIL or telephone our main office in the UK. A Booking Form will be sent to you which should be completed, signed and returned promptly. All reservations will be automatically cancelled if deposits and / or full payment are not received by the due date.
Forms of Payment :
Insurance Information : We hightly recommend that all travellers are adequately covered by insurance including adequate medical cover and trip cancellation to cover any unforseen circumstances that may arise which would prohibit you from participation in your scheduled tour or any portion of your scheduled tour. Cancellations By You : Should you find it necessary to cancel your holiday you should inform us immediately in writing by recorded delivery post and this will become effective on the date received. Deposits are non-refundable and we highly recommend travel insurance protection. Cancellations between 42 - 60 days prior to departure will incur a charge of 50% and should you cancel less than 42 days prior to departure you will be liable for 100% cancellation charges. Cancellations By Us : Global Travel Club reserves the right to cancel or alter the travel services at its discretion except as otherwise noted herein. In the event of cancellation by Global Travel Club all monies paid to us will be refunded promptly. We will not be responsible for other expenses incurred for trip preparations such as non-refundable airline tickets. Refunds : Absolutely no refund request will be accepted over the telephone. All refund requests must be submitted to Global Travel Club in writing. Refunds are not granted for occassionally missed sightseeing tours or meals, and refunds will not be made for any unused portion of the tour covering land arrangements after commencement of travel. Please note that all tour packages are purchased on a "use it or lose it" basis and are not refundable or transferable. Not Included : The following are not included in the tour: Airfare, passports, visas, tourist cards, vaccinations, laundry cost, alcoholic beverages (unless part of an all-inclusive package), meals not specified in the itineraries, excess baggage charges, personal and baggage insurance, health insurance, end of tour gratuity to tour escort, Airport Departure Taxes, services not included in the tour programs, and other items of a personal nature. Flights : Global Travel Club specialises in offering first class ground arrangements that do not include international flights. USA Stopovers : For clients travelling from the UK and Europe, it is necessary to overnight in the USA on the outbound journey. We can make reservations for overnight hotels on request.
Force-Majeure :
Global Travel Club cannot be held responsible for any change in our programme due to
cancellation, delays or alterations, or loss or damage caused by
force-majeure such as strikes, riots, political unrest, war or threat
of war, terrorist activity, flood, fire, industrial dispute, technical or
weather problems affecting transport, grounding of aircraft, closure of
airports or similar events beyond our control.
Website Accuracy and Local Conditions :
The descriptions of hotels, tours, cars, flights and other services in this website have been compiled based on current information available at
the time of creation. However, changes may occur after the date of publication. There may be occasions, when facilities may be withdrawn or reduced
by accommodation owners or proprietors of other services. For example, a pool may be closed for cleaning and/or renovation; if there are several
restaurants in a hotel, some may close down in low season. Redecoration or construction work may occur even in high season. Such changes are beyond
our control. However, when we are advised of any development work, or changes in the information shown in this website, we will make every effort to
advise you before departure.
Liability :
Global Travel Club takes great care in planning your
holiday and to ensure that all accommodation and operators are of an
acceptable standard. All the information given in connection with a client's holiday is given in good faith, so far as it is possible
to ascertain its accuracy at the time of its supply. We reserve the right
to make any changes necessary to any itinerary, hotel or service on any tour
if it is considered necessary or desirable. Global Travel Club acts as an agent only for all services offered. The
use of all services provided by other operators in connection with your
holiday is subject to the terms and conditions of the owner and/or
operator which may exclude or limit liability. The parties are
independent over whom Global Travel Club has no direct control.
Your Responsibilities :
Global Travel Club is not responsible for:-
Scuba Diving :
All persons wishing to
scuba dive should take their Certification with them as this will be examined.
Masks, fins, regulator and, if night dives are required, your own light should
be taken with you, if you have them. Tanks, weights, weight belts
are included in the cost of diving packages. Diving tuition is available
for those new to the sport. Most dive shops have a full range of
equipment for hire. Please note that all dive packages are purchased on a
"use it or lose it" basis and are not refundable or transferable.
Prohibited Acts :
Spear fishing whilst wearing scuba
diving apparel. Removing and export of protected black coral.
Removing of archeological artifacts. Picking of orchids in forest reserves.
Hunting without a licence.
Protection of Funds :
In accordance with current Regulations Global Travel Club operates a Trust Account. Full details will
be provided on request.
Complaints :
In the unlikely event
that you are unhappy with any hotel or service you must speak with the Owner or Manager
of the establishment or service concerned to give them the opportunity to resolve
the problem immediately. If they do not satisfy you, then you must
contact us and we will make
every effort to assist you. If you still feel that you have any
complaints these have to be made in writing to the UK Office on your return.
Booking Form :
Completion of the Booking Form by the passenger and
submission to Global Travel Club shall be deemed to be consent to the
above conditions on behalf of the passenger and all persons named on the
Booking Form. This booking, by
whomsoever it is made, is subject to and governed by and construed in
accordance with English law. No agent, employee or
representative of Global Travel Club has the authority to alter, waive
or modify any of the provisions herein. |
