The Pasanggrahan Royal Guesthouse

The Pasanggrahan (which means 'guesthouse' in Indonesian) Royal Guest House is St. Maarten's oldest and most authentic, colonial-style charming inn.
Formerly the Governor's home, a V.I.P. guest house, and royal residence, it is ideally located in Philipsburg on a white sand beach amidst enchanting tropical gardens.
Secluded and off beat, it is yet only a minute's stroll to shops, restaurants, casinos and other activities
The Sydney Greenstreet Bar, located in the main building, was the original room for Holland's visiting dignitaries and royalty. Queen Wilhelmina and Princess Juliana stayed in this
room before it was converted to a social bar area. The royal room was moved upstairs and is the only room in the main building with its own secluded balcony. The Queen's Room
is furnished with authentic antique furniture including an original four poster bed. It is a very popular room for government officials and honeymooners.
The standard rooms are situated in the old building and feature telephone, Cable TV, air-conditioning and shared balcony facing the ocean. The deluxe rooms are situated in the new building,
and feature telephone, air-conditioning, Cable TV and a private balcony facing the ocean.The Specialty rooms or business section are located on the top floor of the new building, features the
same as a deluxe room, but has a high ceiling and old antique plantation furniture. All high poster beds have mosquito nets over them.
