Ian Anderson's CAVES BRANCH Jungle Lodge is centered in the privately owned 58,000 acre Caves Branch Estate beneath the 100 foot rainforest canopy and alongside the turquoise waters of the Caves Branch River where pristine jungle, wildlife and adventure surrounds you.
Ian Anderson was the pioneer of caving trips in Belize. He has designed all the expeditions - not only to create the utmost in adventure - but also to give each traveller a once in a lifetime experience of natural, historical and cultural wonders within the world of the ancient Maya. The tropical jungle, the caves and caverns, the underground river caves, the lost Maya ruins, burial sites and ceremonial centres, the indigenous wildlife and ... the ancient mysticism that surrounds it all. |

All of the accommodations are completely screened to give you a comfortable and bug free environment but wide open to the symphony of nature. With torches burning throughout the night, casting an eerie glow across the jungle, the babbling river and the cacophony of night creatures, you settle in for a good nights sleep but are roused early to the sounds of the jungle coming to life.
Accommodations are located in the heart of the "Jungle"! Ian Anderson's CAVES BRANCH Jungle Lodge is also considered home to many jungle creatures and they do often visit guest facilities. |

Cabana Suites
There is full comfort offered in the Cabana Suites, a master bedroom with king size bed, full washroom facilities with hot and cold shower and toilet.
Each Cabana Suite has a furnished living area with double pull out bed completely screened for a bug free environment yet open to the sights and sounds of the jungle. |
The interior is finished with mahogony, hand polished bamboo and lit with the romantic glow of oil lamps. |

Jungle Cabanas The Jungle Cabanas are all built three feet above the ground and are thatched in the tradional Maya style. They are completely screened and sleep up to four persons. Each cabana has a combination of double and single beds all with quality linens provided. The interior is finished with mahogony, hand polished bamboo and lit with the romantic glow of oil lamps. |

Each cabana has a private verandah, flush toilet and wash basin within the

The Lodge House
The main Lodge House is where the most important events take place ..
eating .. drinking .. telling exaggerated stories of your adventures
from earlier in the day .. you know, like fishing stories .. and meeting
some of the most exciting and unique travellers in Belize. There is never a dull moment!
Then after dinner .. either observe the stars above through our telescope or simply relax around the verandah in front of the crackling fire while listening to the night sounds of the jungle. If you are planning a snorkeling or diving trip to Belize's Barrier Reef and are looking for an adventure experience in the jungle to highlight your trip ... then you have just found it! |
