Take a leisurely walk on the beach and revel in the feel of fine sand tickling your bare feet. Coconut trees sway in the cool Caribbean breezes casting shadows that tempt you to just stop, relax and listen to the sound of the waves crashing against the reef. |
![]() The Reef's End Lodge sits on the southern tip of Tobacco Caye and offers a safe, comfortable and reliable array of services. While you are with us: dive to your heart's content - inside the reef, on the drop off, in Shark's Cave and experience some of the best diving in the Caribbean. |
![]() The wooden cabanas with zinc roofs are more private and very cozy. Paneled walls and varnished woods gives the cabanas a nice finish and a Belizean flair. Both cabanas have 2 double beds, fans and private bath. Their verandahs catch the breeze off the sea and offer a hammock to enjoy a relaxing evening. ![]() ![]() There are fans available for those still days and a verandah to relax and enjoy the view of the blue waters of the Caribbean. ![]() A beautiful new deluxe cabana is now available for those looking for higher quality accommodations. Located right on the edge of the water with a large verandah and with the benefit of one king size bed, tiled floor, private bathroom with full bath and shower, air-conditioning and ceiling fans. This cabana is ideal for one couple. ![]() The restaurant is built on stilts over the sea and boasts a partially covered deck to enjoy your meals. The view from the deck is spectacular, giving you a panoramic view of the reef and the islands nearby. Relax and sunbathe on the uncovered section of the deck or cast your fishing line while you enjoy a drink from the bar. Whatever your desire, our friendly staff will see to it. Reef's End Lodge also has a full service dive shop. Certified divers have a wide choice of dive spots as well as vacation packages and for the novice diver, training and certification is available up through Dive Master. The east side of the island has the barrier reef as a back drop and is a mere stone's throw from the island. This section of the Belizean Barrier reef offers some of the best SCUBA diving you can get in the Caribbean. ![]() Go for the fishing challenge and see for yourself why fishermen consider Belize's waters to be a heaven. Just about a 100 yards south of Tobacco Caye lies a fisherman's paradise where you are sure to find a school of about a hundred tarpon or test your skill against the Bone Fish, Permit and Snook. No matter your choice, you are guaranteed the catch of the day and the restaurant will be more than happy to prepare your fish as well. ![]() Inland activities can be arranged for guests to tour Mayan ruins and the Jaguar Reserve. The Belizeans on the island welcome you with warm smiles and unmatched hospitality, always willing to make your stay as comfortable and fulfilling as possible. Their knowledge of the caye and surrounding areas is vast and their stories of fishing, full of excitement and awe. The length and breadth of Tobacco Caye can be walked in about 5 to 10 minutes but the memories of your time there will last a life time. |
