Day 1 - Arrival in Belize - "La Isla Bonita" On arrival at Belize International Airport, connect with a short commuter flight to the idyllic island of Ambergris Caye. Enjoy spectacular aerial views as you get your first glimpse of the amazing Belize Barrier Reef. Meet & Greet at the airstrip in San Pedro - made famous by Madonna in her song "La Isla Bonita" ("The Beautiful Island") and transfer to Captain Morgan's Retreat for a 7 night stay. If you would like to escape with your partner then Captain Morgan's Retreat is the place for you. You will appreciate the privacy of your own roomy thatched roof casita with the white sand beach on your doorstep. You will enjoy the natural and secluded location, just 3 miles north of San Pedro on the idyllic island of Ambergris Caye. You cannot fail to relax with the romantic background on this beautiful enchanted island as you let the sea breezes cool you and the sound of the ocean waves lull you to sleep.
